Simple Price List

Legal notice and disclaimer

Last updated September 25, 2026

Summary: Simple Price List is a best-effort service that is not guaranteed for business-critical operations. Use it on the assumption that it can fail, be unavailable or lose data at any time, and that there is no privacy guarantee for anything you store in it. If you can’t accept these terms, please don’t use the service.

1. Service provided “as is”

Simple Price List (the “Service”) is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability and non-infringement.

The Service runs on best-effort, self-hosted infrastructure. We offer no service-level agreement (SLA), no uptime commitment and no support commitment.

2. Not for business-critical use

The Service must not be used for business-critical operations. This includes any activity where downtime, delays, incorrect prices or lost data could cause financial loss, legal exposure, safety risks or disruption to your business.

Use the Service on the assumption that it can fail at any time, and plan accordingly:

  • The Service may be unavailable for planned or unplanned reasons, for any length of time, with or without notice.
  • Data may be lost, corrupted or restored from an older state. Backups aren’t guaranteed.
  • Features may change, and the Service may be discontinued at any time.
  • You are responsible for checking that the prices and other information you store and show to others are correct.
  • Keep your own copy of your data. Use the CSV export regularly, and keep a fallback process that doesn’t depend on the Service.

3. No privacy guarantee

The Service makes no guarantee of privacy or confidentiality for the information you store in it.

  • Don’t upload personal, confidential or sensitive data. This includes customer details, payment information, health data, trade secrets and anything subject to regulatory requirements.
  • Although each organization’s price list is kept separate inside the application, software defects, misconfiguration or security incidents could expose your data to other people.
  • The operator of the Service and its infrastructure may technically be able to access stored data for operating, maintaining or troubleshooting the Service.
  • Basic account information (name, email address) is received from your sign-in provider and stored so that you can log in and be invited to organizations. Technical logs (such as IP addresses and request details) may be kept for operating the Service.
  • Data isn’t sold or shared for advertising purposes.

Only store information that you would be comfortable having exposed.

4. Third-party sign-in

Sign-in is handled by a third-party identity provider (Google). Its own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of its services. The Service isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

5. Your responsibilities

By using the Service you agree to:

  • use it lawfully and not abuse, overload, probe or attempt to break its security;
  • make sure you have the right to upload the content you store (including linked images);
  • manage who you invite to your organization and which roles they receive.

Accounts or data may be suspended or removed at any time, especially in cases of abuse.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of the Service shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages. This includes loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated notice.
